Has anyone started or defined a cloud computing strategy for your organization yet?  Has anyone tested or is in production with any solutions for Infrastructure as a Server, Platform as a Service, and/or Software as a Service?

We, Giant Eagle, are currently using SmartReply for any SMS needs.  They have voice and text messaging capabilities.  They also have an API to integrate in with, but we are currently using that feature.  Our campaigns are facilitated through SmartReply at this time.

Subject: What are your companies using to send SMS messages?

I am wondering what your companies are using to send SMS messages to send to customers or employees.  We have a developer looking to built this functionality into his app and would like to see how others have approached this need.  Are you using a developer API, simply sending via email (assuming you know the person's carrier), others?  Are you using different solutions in different regions?  Any recommendations on companies?
